Indian Association of Women Veterinarians (IAWV) was formed on 2nd October 1985, at New Delhi. The mission of the association is to provide a platform for the lady veterinarians of the country and abroad to exchange thoughts and ideas related with their Veterinary careers. The activities of the association include strengthening the state chapters, publishing national and state level directories of its members, prepare identity cards for its members and organize national level meetings for the empowerment of lady veterinarians all over the country.
