In the arena of diagnostic advancements women vets have contributed in numerous ways spanning from telemedicine, point of-care diagnostics, zoonotic disease, surveillance by teaming up with public health professionals. A vital contribution of lady vets has been recorded in wildlife sector too in various aspects of conservation, forensics, disease surveillance and preventing transmission of zoonotic pathogens. In essence, women veterinarians through their
focused and dedicated efforts have been fostering interdisciplinary collaboration addressing both animal and human health challenges and thus promoting global health security holistically.
